PL has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from MIT. He is a retired professor whose love of teaching made him choose our institute. He is working with Hack Your Course full time and has many satisfied students. He teaches general chemistry, IB SL Chemistry, IB HL Chemistry, and AP Chemistry. He is available for online and in-home tutoring.
UI has a master’s in mathematics, followed by another one from SFU! He has been with us for a long time, and he has been teaching mainly IB and AP students. He has had several IB students from Mulgrave and Sir Winston Churchill Secondary IB Schools; he also had a few clients from Collingwood. He also teaches advanced math to university students at SFU. He can tutor Calculus, Pre-calculus, Math IB SL, Math IB HL, FMHL and mathematics studies plus all AP (AB/BC). He also helps students with their Internal Assessment and Extended Essays.
MH has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from UBC. He has amassed considerable experience teaching physics, math, and chemistry. He is working exclusively with HYC as a tutor and is available for online classes using our advanced online tutoring platform and the hardware provided by Hack Your Course. He has had dozens of IB and AP students from different schools in Vancouver and Toronto. His knowledge and expertise fascinates all the students and clients. HR has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from UBC and is now a postdoctoral fellow. He has significant experience teaching in the fields of mathematics, physics, and chemistry. He was a teaching assistant for high school math and physics courses as well as Advanced Mathematics, Physical Chemistry, Energy and Mass Transfer, and Thermodynamics at the University of British Columbia. He works with HYC full time and teaches math and physics for all levels, including IB (SL/HL) and AP (AB/BC). He also teaches chemistry to regular grade 11 and 12 students. HR is available for online and in-home tutoring in North Shore.
MR has a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Singapore and has been teaching and tutoring math at schools and institutes since 2010! She is working exclusively with HYC and all the feedback on her work has been very positive. She prefers online tutoring with occasional in-person classes. She teaches math and calculus for all levels, including IB (SL/HL/FMHL) and AP (AB/BC). She has several students from Vancouver and Toronto.
We Are The Professionals!
KM has a bachelor in mathematics from the University of Waterloo. He has been a top IB graduate himself. He has been tutoring for some time and has just joined the HYC family. He does General math, calculus, and pre-calculus tutoring, math SL, math HL tutoring, FMHL and mathematics studies. He also helps students with their Internal Assessments. He is one of our online tutors.
We Are The Professionals!
NA has a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Physics and a Master’s degree in Quality Management. She is a certified IB math and physics teacher with more than 25 years of teaching experience, having formerly been a lecturer and high school teacher. She has been with us less than a year, but the feedback had been overwhelmingly positive so far. She prefers to tutor online as she does not have a car, but she is available for occasional in-home classes.
FF has a master’s in chemistry and has been tutoring chemistry for more than three years in Vancouver. He can tutor IB Chemistry HL and IB chemistry SL, General Chemistry and AP Chemistry. He has just joined HYC.
PA is currently working on his Bachelor’s degree in Science at UBC and has been tutoring with HYC for three years. He is one of the few tutors with a 100% satisfaction rate. Once a student starts with him, they stay with him until they graduate! Therefore, he will likely not have much time for new clients! He was a top-notch IB student who now tutors math at any level, including IB SL, as well as biology. He has been with HYC since the beginning, so he is well-versed in our commitment to quality, our rules and regulations, and our high standards.
LD has a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Saskatchewan as well as a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry. She has been teaching and tutoring for a long time and right now she has several IB SL and IB HL chemistry students from different IB schools in Vancouver and Toronto.
SS has two Master’s degrees in Economics. He has been tutoring for several years and is currently working with SL and HL level IB students from Toronto and Vancouver through Hack Your Course.
MW is pursuing a degree in Accounting and Financial Management with a Computer Science minor and she is in her third year of university. She has been cooperating with Hack Your Course and teaches Math (SL/HL) and economics (SL/HL) for students from Vancouver and Toronto. She is a top IB graduate herself with a 45!
OK has a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Hispanic Studies from Universidad de la República and UBC. He started tutoring in Vancouver with Hack Your Course, and he has had IB and AP students with us. He is now tutoring students from all over Vancouver and Toronto. His approval ratings are 100%

SP has a bachelor of chemistry from UBC with distinction and several years of tutoring experience for regular BC curriculum, AP and IB. She has been an IB student during PYP, MYP and DP, so she is very well familiar with IB students’ challenges. She graduated from IB with a 42, and now she is pursuing to be a BC teacher. She works exclusively with Hack Your Course and tutors MYP/PYP Math and Science and Chemistry SL/HL and AP. Her satisfaction rate is 100% so far!
AW has a bachelor’s in mathematics, and now she is getting her master’s of education from Toronto university. She has been an IB certified teacher in Kiangsu Chekiang International Baccalaureate School. She has also been tutoring Math for IB and AP students for a long time. She is cooperating exclusively with Hack Your Course, and her satisfaction rate has been 100%.
LK has a bachelor of education and a Bachelor of Science Honours specializing in Environmental Biology. She is a certified teacher and has been an IB student in all PYP, MYP and DP levels! She tutors chemistry, biology for DP students and science/math to MYP/PYP students. She’s had a 100% satisfaction rate!
PP has a bachelor’s in health sciences from McMaster University and pursuing to get into med school, and she used to be an IB student, graduating with a 44! CW has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mathematics.
