PSYC-1150 is one of two introductory courses Windsor requires before most upper-year Psychology courses. Standard direct-entry majors take it in the fall and PSYC-1160 (Introduction to Psychology as a Social Science) in the winter. HL Psychology covers only PSYC-1150, so this award clears one of those two first-year prerequisites, not both.
Because the award is the specific PSYC-1150 rather than a generic PSYC-1xxx elective, it normally satisfies a program's PSYC-1150 requirement where it appears on your Academic Advising Report, though Windsor cautions that not all granted transfer credit aligns with degree requirements. Windsor publishes no Psychology SL line in its IB table, so SL has no transfer award.
Treat the credit as a decision, not a default. IB credit is opt-in at admission, where applicants "have the option at the point of admission of receiving transfer credit for approved courses". It matters because Windsor's transfer FAQ then states that "you cannot decline transfer credit" once it posts.
