What to watch for:
- The credit carries no grade. Only "TR" appears on the transcript and the IB score is not reflected in the Queen's GPA. Queen's Academic Regulation 10.3.5 deems a TR designation "equivalent to a grade of C" for internal evaluation of course prerequisites and admission to second year, so the credit can be assessed against a GPA-based prerequisite such as the one on BIOL 205. The TR itself stays out of your GPA.
- The deadline applies to credit you still need to request. Entering students must have their IB results reach Queen's Undergraduate Admission no later than the end of fall term of their first year. Queen's posts eligible transfer credit to SOLUS automatically by September 15th. The end-of-fall-term deadline applies to requesting additional credit that was not posted, and a student who misses it is treated as having declined that additional credit. It is not a deadline that removes credit already on your record. Queen's will not request results on your behalf; you order them through the IBO yourself.
