UNB grants transfer credit for Physics HL, but only at a 6 or 7. Physics is the single exception on UNB's IB transfer-credit table: every other listed subject, including Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics, earns credit at a 5, so a 5 in Physics HL earns nothing here even though a 5 in HL Chemistry would. Physics SL is not eligible; UNB awards IB transfer credit for Higher Level results only (see the Physics SL page).

Fredericton grants 1000-level Physics (6 ch) and Saint John grants unassigned first-year Physics (6 to 10 ch), rather than the specific courses that HL Biology and Chemistry map to. Treat it as elective-level: UNB's Faculty of Science describes unassigned first-level science transfer credit as something that could be used in some circumstances, so it may count toward a first-year physics or elective requirement only as your faculty accepts it.
