We then introduce a tutor whose expertise and teaching approach align with those needs. If for any reason the match isn't ideal, we'll reassign at no extra cost. No. We operate on a pay-as-you-go basis. You're invoiced only for sessions completed, and there are no minimum hours or long-term contracts. This keeps things flexible and ensures you're never locked into unused prepaid hours. See our unique approach.
We cover all IB Diploma subjects including Mathematics (AA & AI, SL/HL), Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, ESS), Languages (English A, French B, Spanish B), Humanities (History, Geography, Economics, Psychology), and the core components (TOK, Extended Essay, CAS guidance). We also support Internal Assessments across all disciplines.
The IB Diploma requires six subjects: three at Higher Level (HL) and three at Standard Level (SL). Students also complete the core: Theory of Knowledge (TOK), the Extended Essay (EE), and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS). This structure develops both depth and breadth of knowledge while building critical thinking and research skills.
Source: International Baccalaureate Organization →Each subject is graded 1–7, so the six subjects contribute up to 42 points. Up to 3 additional points come from TOK and the Extended Essay combined. The maximum Diploma score is 45 points. A score of 24 is needed to earn the Diploma, though competitive universities often look for 38+ for selective programs. See our complete grading guide.
Source: IBO Assessment & Exams →Assessment is both internal (IA, completed during the course and moderated by IB) and external (final exams in May). The weighting of Internal Assessments varies by subject, with each discipline having its own assessment structure. External exams test application of knowledge through essays, data analysis, and problem-solving questions.
Source: IBO Assessment Principles →Yes. Our tutors provide guidance on topic selection, research design, data collection, analysis, and write-up—while respecting academic integrity. We help students understand marking criteria and coach them through drafts. Explore our guides for Science IAs, Math IAs, and Economics IAs.
The Extended Essay is an independent research paper of up to 4,000 words on a topic of the student's choice, linked to one of their Diploma subjects. It develops university-level research and writing skills. Our tutors help with topic refinement, source evaluation, structure, and revision.
Source: IBO Extended Essay Guide →TOK explores how we know what we claim to know. Students complete an exhibition (a curated display linking real-world objects to TOK concepts) and a 1,600-word essay responding to a prescribed title. Our tutors help students develop nuanced arguments and understand assessment criteria.
Source: IBO Theory of Knowledge →Effective preparation involves understanding command terms, practicing past papers under timed conditions, and focusing on weak areas identified through diagnostic review. Our tutors create personalized study plans, teach exam technique, and provide targeted practice so students enter exams confident and well-prepared. Check out our free IB resources.
